WORKSHOPS
WEEKEND, SEMESTER, & SUMMER PROGRAMS
Supporting Young Writers: explore the Preschool Framework, TK Guidelines, the CA CCSS for K-2, and the importance that “play” has in children’s early development of reading, writing, and social emotional skills.
New Teachers Writing Collaborative: Participants explore and learn together about writer’s workshops, mini lessons, mentor texts, classroom writing routines, giving students feedback, and translanguaging.
Invitational Summer Institute: The summer institute trains exemplary teachers to become Teacher Leaders and work with the SJVWP throughout their professional careers.
